Race Schedule

  • 10:30am opening of bar-against-bar races
  • 11:00am – 12:15pm sign in / registration
  • 12:30 opening ceremonies
  • 12:30 – ??? RACES

Rules for the Derby

  1. Car must be made of one unadulterated beer can. Meaning the can must not be crushed or flattened. Cutting into the can is, of course, allowed.
  2. The race car can have NO propulsion of any kind. This includes, but is not limited, to fans or gases.  All race cars are gravity racers.
  3. The dimensions of the race car must be….
    1. No more than 12oz in total weight
    2. No wider than 4 inches
    3. No longer than 12 inches.
    4. Please make your car your own with paint, cut-outs, streamers, any decorations you choose.
