We, a collective of 7 bars, have joined together to throw some great parties and make sure all of Seattle knows that Greenwood is a very cool neighborhood with a bar or restaurant for every taste.

Every month the different bars will post the events and specials as well as a blog of clever and fun news of the neighborhood.

Our first event will be the Beer Can Derby on October 3, hosted by Naked City Taphouse. In the tradition of the Pinewood Derby we will turn the whole bar into a racetrack for beer cans turned into gravity racers. Please check out the rules page or talk to your friendly GPA bartender for rules. We have limited entrée…so sign up now. Please check out the website for rules and info.

The registration will begin at 11:00am; races begin at 12:30. Grab yourself a beer and lunch before the races and cheer on the bars as they race each other, than it’s your chance to ‘beat the bar’ for some really cool prizes.
